A flatbed turns a pickup or cab-and-chassis into an open work deck — headache rack up front, toolboxes where you need them and hitch options for towing. VSI Upfitters installs CM Truck Beds flatbeds in steel and aluminum, sized to your truck.

Different CM flatbeds and flat-deck bodies are designed for different jobs.
Towing
The TM and TM Deluxe are designed to haul from bumper or gooseneck positions. The HS hotshot uses a 30,000 lb-rated CURT rail system compatible with gooseneck or 5th-wheel hitches.
Tool storage
The SK, SK Deluxe and TM Deluxe add integrated, lockable toolboxes — up to six on the TM Deluxe and CM MegaBox toolboxes on 11′4″ SK Deluxe models.
Hotshot hauling
The HS hotshot body adds a Fuel Deck with room for an external fuel tank, plus two front toolboxes.
Contractors
The CM CT contractor body adds a material rack and fold-down aluminum side rails. View CT

Bigger decks

Flatbed questions
Which CM flatbed is right for my pickup?
Start with how you’ll use it. The RD is CM’s straightforward workhorse, the SK adds four integrated toolboxes, the ER adds a raised side rail and stainless fenders, and the TM family is designed for towing from bumper or gooseneck. Lengths run from 84″ to 11′4″ depending on model — we’ll match the length to your truck.
Can I tow a gooseneck with a CM flatbed?
Most CM flatbeds list a 30K B&W gooseneck hitch with welded ball and a 24K B&W receiver hitch. The HS hotshot uses a 30,000 lb-rated CURT rail system compatible with gooseneck or 5th-wheel hitches. Your actual towing limit is set by your truck’s ratings.
What’s the difference between the steel and aluminum versions?
Steel models use a 1/8″ treadplate deck and steel tube headache rack; aluminum models use an extruded aluminum floor and aluminum headache rack, and most keep 4″ structural channel steel frame rails. CM positions aluminum around fuel economy, payload and corrosion resistance.
Do the beds come with lights and trailer wiring?
CM flatbeds list DOT-approved LED marker lighting and LED rear lights, and most models include a 7-pin plug in the gooseneck box plus a 7-pin / 4-way flat at the rear. We complete the wiring as part of the install.
Can you add a liftgate, extra toolboxes or work lights?
Yes. We install liftgates such as the Tommy Gate G2-60 pickup series, plus lighting, toolboxes and other accessories during the same build.
Can you install a flatbed on a truck I already own?
Yes — bring your truck to our Commerce City shop. If you need a truck, we can help source one through our Colorado dealer network.
