Van upfit questions
Do I need a partition?
Adrian Steel recommends a partition for any commercial van that will be transporting heavy or loose cargo — it separates the cab from the cargo area and helps protect occupants from shifting cargo. We’ll help you choose steel, composite or sliding-door styles.
Should I buy a package or go custom?
Packages are a fast, proven starting point for common trades like HVAC, plumbing and electrical. If your tools or route are unique, we can customize a package or design the layout from scratch.
Which vans can you upfit?
We upfit full-size and compact cargo vans including Ford Transit and E-Transit, Ram ProMaster, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, and Chevrolet Express / GMC Savana. Tell us your roof height and wheelbase so we can spec the right parts.
Can you upfit a whole fleet?
Yes. We’ve upfit vans for commercial fleets and can standardize one layout across multiple vans. See previous van jobs.
Can you add power, lighting and ladder racks too?
Yes — ladder and roof racks, liftgates and ramps, liners and insulation, and mobile power such as air compressors, generators and inverters can all be part of the same build.
