A mechanic body carries a crane, an air compressor and power. Stellar sizes the TMAX line by crane capacity, so you start with what you need to lift and the body follows.

Bigger cranes need longer bodies and heavier chassis. The TMAX 16K and 30K come in 9' or 11'. The TMAX 2 comes in 11' or 14', and the TMAX 3 in 14' or 17.5' on a tandem axle. Tell us what you lift, how far you reach and how often, and we'll match the model, the compressor and the chassis.

As a Stellar dealer, we quote the body, crane and compressor together and install the package in our Commerce City shop.

Built for

The job: field service on equipment that needs lifting, air and power at the machine.

Fitment

TMAX bodies go on chassis cabs sized for the crane. CA and GVWR depend on the model and options. We check the chassis against Stellar's current requirements and confirm on your VIN before ordering. Crane and compressor weight count against payload; a Class B CDL applies at 26,001 lb GVWR and up.
